Remove/install rear bumper - AR88.20-P-2200G

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal/installation     
1 Remove paneling from rear center section   AR68.30-P-4785G
2 Remove left and right side paneling   AR68.30-P-4800G
3 Open trunk lid IMPORTANT Turn lid in normal position  
4 Fasten connector (10) for trunk luggage cover "closed limit switch (S69/10) with tie strap NOTES Do not damage contact (10) of trunk luggage cover "closed" limit switch (S69/10) to ensure proper function
IMPORTANT Do not disconnect connector.
 
5 Disconnect antenna lines (9) from left rear bumper antenna amplifier (A2/26) and press grommet toward outside NOTES Do not damage antenna lines (9) to ensure for proper function  
    NOTESInstallation  : Grommet for antenna lines (9) should be seated securely in fender to prevent water ingress  
6 Unscrew nut (7) and remove toothed lock washer (8) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA88.20-P-1002-01A 
7 Unscrew bolts (3) from inner fender, remove washers (4) and sealing washers (5) IMPORTANTInstallation  : Check sealing washers (5), replace if necessary  
8 Unscrew nut (2) from bolt (1) on outer left and right    
9 Remove bumper (6) IMPORTANT Remove bumper toward rear.  
10.1 Modify the AMG-bumper IMPORTANTInstallation  : See installation instructions for accessories  
REFER TO RETROFITTING & CONVERSION   Retrofitting AMG trims AZ88.00-P-0001I 
11 Install in the reverse order
