Adjusting rear side windows - AR67.30-P-4200G

1 Inspect alignment of crank window at driver door, correct if necessary   AR72.10-P-1950G
2 Open  vario roof    
3 Remove trim (1) and cover (2) at B-pillar    
4 Remove inner slot seal at B-pillar (1 screw)    
5 Partially detach rear wall paneling (3) on side at B-pillar    
6 Close rear side window (4), separate terminal block (M10/5x1 and M10/6x1) for this step and connect to power source (12 V)    
7 Close crank window (5) at driver door    
8 Adjust top stop for rear side window (4) (dimension "A") IMPORTANT Carry out adjustment at setting screw (arrow) at top stop of rear window lifter (6) *BE67.30-P-1001-01A 
9 Inspect size of gap ("B") between edge of glass of crank window (5) and trim strip at rear side window, adjust if necessary   *BE67.30-P-1002-01A 
10 To adjust, slacken front screw (arrow) at rear side window (4) IMPORTANT Set gap between edge of glass of crank window (5) and rear side window (4) parallel  
11 Open rear side window (4) and connect terminal block (M10/5x1 and M10/6x1) to wiring harness    
12 Install inner shaft seal on B-pillar    
13 Close vario roof    
14 Screw in adjustment screw (arrow) at top of rear window lift mechanism until it makes contact with the top stop    
15 Check inclination of rear side window (4) relative to top weather seal at vario roof (arrows), adjust if necessary    
16 Slacken lock nut (8) and align rear side window (4) by turning the adjusting screw (9, waf 5.5) so that it rests evenly against the weather seal surround at the top (arrows) and with a slight tension IMPORTANT Turning adjusting screw (9) in means moving inclination of rear side window at top further out  
17 Additional adjustment facility of inclination of rear side window at top attachment point of rear window lifter (6), slacken screw (7) for this step and move rear window lifter (6) in desired direction (arrows) IMPORTANT Use internal torx wrench socket T 30

18 Inspect contour of rear side window (4) to crank window (5) of driver door, adjust if necessary IMPORTANT The crank window (5) must be positioned flush with the vertical trim strip of the rear side window (4). An adjustment is possible by setting the rear guide rail at the crank window of the driver door  
19 Inspect size of gap "C" with vario roof closed  IMPORTANT If both side windows (4 and 5) are correctly aligned, the specified value (dimension "C") must be achieved *BE67.30-P-1003-01A 
20 Attach rear wall paneling (3)    
21 Install cover (2) and trim (1)    
22 Carry out operational check
