| 1 | Remove tensioning element (1) | AR91.10-P-1910N | |
| 2 | Remove head restraint | AR91.16-P-0040N | |
| 3 | Unhook backrest cover in area of cross member (2) | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew inner Torx screws (4) and unhook cross member (2) on right from tensioning wire (5) | Figure | |
| 6 | Press retaining clips (6) in direction of arrow and remove head restraint adjustment up/down motors (M25m4/M26m4) | ||
| 7 | Install in opposite order | ||
| 8 | Check head restraint adjustment for proper function |
