Function 

The sliding/pop-up roof (SR) is a combination of sliding roof and pop-up roof. The sliding roof opens to the rear. The sliding and pop-up roof elements cannot  be open simultaneously. The roof is operated by means of the SR switch (N70s1) in the overhead control panel.

The following functions can be triggered with the SR switch (N70s1):

• Close sliding/pop-up roof (SR) (M12) (1 or 3); the sliding roof or the pop-up roof is closed depending on which one is open
• Open sliding roof (2); if the pop-up roof is open it is closed previously.
• Open pop-up roof (4); if the sliding roof is open, it is closed previously.

The automatic function  allows the roof to be adjusted to the most recently adopted (and stored) position with one touch of the switch.

The convenience feature  with the sub-functions convenience closing  and convenience opening  closes and opens the sliding/pop-up roof (SR) (M12) when the "Lock" or "Unlock" button is pressed on the remote control key (A8/1).
