	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  from hydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury to eyes and skin suffering caustic burns from battery electrolyte or from contact with damaged lead acid batteries.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

	Risk of injury  when carrying out test or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units	Store airbag unit with expulsion area on top, do not subject to temperatures above 100 °C. Interrupt power supply when working on such units.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove steering wheel	Front wheels in straight-ahead position.	AR46.10-P-0100P

2	Remove fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45)		AR46.10-P-0200P
3	Unclip fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) from steering angle sensor (N49) (arrows)	Removal:  Press retaining clamps outwards, lightly push onto and remove the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45). Installation:  ensure that clock spring contact latches properly into place. The retaining lugs of the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) must rest on the retaining clamps.
4	Install in the reverse order
