Only unscrew the fastening screws (32h) until the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) can be removed |
The fastening screws (32h) serve simultaneously as anti-twist protection or assembly aid. |

Carefully remove the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) from the jacket tube |
Installation:
Push on the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) as far as the stop
 Installation:
Do not use any oil or grease, otherwise malfunctions can occur.
Installation:
In order to avoid damage to the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) do not install these twisted. If the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) is not in the center position:

Check fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) for damage |
Remove steering angle sensor (N49) for this step.
Visual inspection, if necessary replace fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) |
