Remove/install xenon headlamp control unit - AR82.10-P-4632P

MODEL 203 with CODE (614) Bi-xenon headlamp unit 

Illustrated on model 203.0 bi-xenon headlamp unit, code 614 on right side of vehicle, lamp unit built-in

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by high voltage levels present at xenon headlamps.
Risk of explosion/fire hazard  through highly flammable material in the area of damaged xenon bulbs.
Risk of injury  through UV light, hot components on xenon headlamps and glass splinters when xenon bulbs burst.
Risk of poisoning  through inhalation of mercury vapor and swallowing of or skin contact with toxic salts and mercury compounds.
Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants  (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off complete lighting system. Wear insulating safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure that the workplace is sufficiently ventilated. AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1.1 Remove left front headlamp unit IMPORTANT Only if left xenon headlamp control unit (E1n1) is removed. AR82.10-P-4730PA 
1.2 Remove front fender liner in front fender IMPORTANT Only if right xenon headlamp control unit (E2n1) is removed, right front lamp unit installed. AR88.10-P-1300P
2 Remove bolts (1)    
3 Carefully pry off xenon headlamp control unit (E2n1) or xenon headlamp control unit (E1n1) from the right or left front lamp unit SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 2
4 Install in the reverse order    
5.1 Adapter of the xenon headlamp control unit (E2n1) or the xenon headlamp control unit (E1n1) IMPORTANT When replacing the xenon headlamp control unit (E2n1) or the xenon headlamp control unit (E1n1).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
    STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A 
6 Check headlamp setting and correct if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Check and correct headlamp adjustment   AP82.10-P-8260P
