Remove/install washer fluid reservoir of windshield washer system - AR82.35-P-6000P

MODEL 203 

Shown on model 203.2 with code (600) Headlamp cleaning system and with code (875) Heated windshield washer system

MODIFICATION NOTES

2.2.06 Repair method has been revised Remove bumper discontinued  
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
1 Remove finder liner in front fender IMPORTANT Left, front and center fender liner. AR88.10-P-1300P
2 Pull filler neck out of washer fluid reservoir (1)    
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray.
Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.
Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

3.1 Use clamps to clamp off both coolant hoses on the heater, release the hose clamps and detach both coolant hoses of the washer fluid heater For vehicles with code (875) Heated windshield washer system.

4 Unclip bracket for lines on washer fluid reservoir (1)    
5 Remove windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and place to one side with lines attached IMPORTANT Collect washer fluid which flows out.  
6.1 Remove rear-end door washer fluid pump (M5/3) and place to one side with lines attached In case of model 203.2  
7.1 Remove HCS [SRA] pump (M5/2) and place to one side with lines attached On vehicles with code (600) Headlamp cleaning system.  
8 Disconnect electrical connector at the switch of the windshield washer system fluid level control (S42)    
9 Remove bolts (2)    
10 Take off washer fluid reservoir (1)    
11.1 Remove heater unit Only when replacing washer fluid reservoir (1) on vehicles with code (875) Heated windshield washer system.  
12.1 Remove windshield washer fluid level indicator switch (S42) Only when replacing the washer fluid reservoir (1).  
13 Install in the reverse order    
14 Correct fluid level of windshield washer system    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Windshield washer system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level   AP82.35-P-8210P
15.1 Inspect cooling system for leaks In vehicles with code (875) heated windshield washer system  
    Engine 111, 112, 113, 271, 611, 612, 646 AR20.00-P-1010P
    Engine 642 AR20.00-P-1010PI
    Engine 272 AR20.00-P-1010QB
