Removing and installing windshield washer hose - AR82.35-P-6980P

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing    
DANGER Injury Hazard!  Windshield wiper mechanism can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1 Open engine hood    
2 Remove fender liner from front fender IMPORTANT Front inner fender AR88.10-P-1300P
3 Disconnect heated washer nozzle hose connector (X88/7) Code (875) heated windshield washer  
4 Remove windshield washer hose (11) NOTES Risk of breakage.
IMPORTANT Hose on windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1). Close pump.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of plugs Figure
5 Unscrew screws, ventilation grille to engine hood (1)    
6 Take off ventilation grille NOTES Avoid damaging paintwork at hood and at ventilation grille.  
7 Press T-piece (2) out of left windshield washer nozzle (4) NOTES Risk of breakage.  
8 Push elbow (3) out of right windshield washer nozzle (5) NOTES Risk of breakage.  
9 Open cable duct (15)    
10 Open cable strap. IMPORTANT All cable straps for windshield washer hose to wiring harness.  
11 Expose windshield washer hose (11) and remove    
12 Install in the reverse order    
13 Check fluid level of windshield washer system and correct if necessary

14 Windshield wiper, windshield washing system function check
