	Remove/Install
1	Open window
2	Remove paneling on B-pillar	Remove paneling on B-pillar (1) at bottom.	AR68.30-P-4700P
3	Pull off connectors of door separation point	Left rear door separation point (X35/3), right rear door separation point (X35/4)
4	Use mounting wedge to unclip protective tube (2) at B-pillar	Mounting wedge	Figure
5	Release omega clips (5) and pull line (4) out of B-pillar
6	Remove bolts (3)	Move door to first detent.
		Bolt at door catch	*BA72.12-P-1002-01A
7	Remove nuts (6)
8	Take out rear door
	When replacing a door, carry out seam sealing and cavity preservation	When replacing a door ↓
		Check rubber seal for corrosion and clean if necessary
		Treat door frame in area of contact surface of rubber seal with MB preservative	*BR00.45-Z-1003-05A
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Perform function check
	Check
11	Inspect gap dimension at rear door all round	Feeler gauge	Figure
		Align rear door, if necessary.	AR72.12-P-0650P
		Gap dimensions on hoods, doors and lids	*BE60.00-P-1002-01E
