Remove/install rear window - AR67.20-P-2000M: Notes

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  from slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and from glass splinters when cutting out glued windows IMPORTANT Clamp blade in or out only when air supply is interrupted.
Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

1 Prepare glue cartridge   AR67.10-P-1000-07P 
    Repair kit *BR00.45-Z-1015-02A 
2 Remove paneling on C-pillar   AR68.30-P-4490M
3 Disconnect electric connections for heated rear window from C-pillar and fasten to rear window with adhesive tape    
4 Remove molding on rear window   AR67.20-P-2200M 
5 Remove rubber spacers   AR67.20-P-2000-01E 
6 Cut rear window out of with cutting blade   AR67.20-P-2000-02M

7 Remove rear window from body with suction cups COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WE58.40-Z-1029-11A 
INSTALLING Install     
8 Replace rubber spacers IMPORTANT Do not remove protective foil AR67.20-P-2000-03M 
9 Replace rubber channel (2) at bottom of body flange    
10 Prepare window for installation   AR67.10-P-1000-03P 
11 Prepare body flange for installation of window   AR67.10-P-1501-01P 
12 Line up rear window in the body opening   AR67.20-P-2000-04E

13 Remove protective foil from rubber spacers    
14 Open window in driver's door. NOTES During curing time, this prevents the rear window from being pressed outward by the air pressure when the doors are closed  
15 Apply glue NOTES Install window within 10 minutes before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease
IMPORTANT Height of glue bead approx. 13 mm

16 Install rear window   AR67.20-P-2000-05M 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WE58.40-Z-1029-11A 
17 Install molding on rear window   AR67.20-P-2200M 
18 Connect electric connections for heated rear window on C-pillar    
19 Install paneling on C-pillar   AR68.30-P-4490M
20 Clean rear window
