Check vehicle level at front and rear axle with electronic inclinometer, adjust if necessary - AR40.20-P-0301FB

1	Observe general information on chassis alignment.	Following repair work forcefully move vehicle up and down several times before measuring.	AR40.20-P-0201FB
2	Install measuring plate (086b) in the recess in the lower wishbone.	The groove in the measuring plate (086b) should be at an angle of 90° to the direction of travel. Clean measuring point at bottom wishbone. Remove metal chips from measuring plate. Measuring plate is magnetic, information on data carriers, e.g. floppy discs, credit cards, etc. can be rendered unusable.	*WE58.40-Z-1002-15A
3	Check vehicle level at the front axle  via the wishbone inclination.	Attach measurement sensor (086a) (connecting cable pointing to center of vehicle) and store each measured value. Left front measuring point 1 Right front measuring point 2	*WE58.40-Z-1002-15A

4	Check vehicle level at the rear axle  via the rear axle shaft inclination.	Attach measurement sensor (086a) to left and right rear axle shaft (connecting cable pointing to center of vehicle) and store each measured value. Clean measuring points on rear axle shaft Left rear measuring point 3 Right rear measuring point 4	*WE58.40-Z-1002-15A

		Vehicle level at front or rear axle outside tolerance:↓. Adjust vehicle level by changing the springs or spring rubber mounts.
	On vehicles with level control  a vehicle level too low should not  be corrected by changing the level control connection rod (control point).	Check function of level control. If OK, adjust the vehicle level by changing the spring or spring rubber mount.
