Remove hand wheel (1), pull handle (2) towards front |

Unscrew screw (3) at trim (4) and remove trim (4) from seat adjuster |
Installation: Hang trim (4) onto front seat adjuster |

Unscrew screw (5) from trim (6) and remove trim (6) |
Installation: Hang trim (6) onto front seat adjuster (arrow) and latch onto backrest fitting |

Unscrew the bolts (10) on the left and right of the backrest fitting (11) |

|
Use torx socket insert T45 |

Remove front seat backrest from the seat adjuster |

| 7 |
Detach tension springs (7) for angle adjustment shaft (8) at cushion frame (9) |
|
|
| 8 |
Unscrew screws (12 and 13) from mounting plate (14) |
|
|
|
|
Use torx socket insert T30 |

Remove seat adjuster (15) from seat cushion (19) |
Installation: Check left and right plastic bearing plates (18) on cushion frame (9) and insert if necessary. Grease bearing bushes, quadrants and mounting plates (14) of seat adjuster (15) |

Unscrew seat belt buckle (16) from seat adjuster (15) (SW 17) |

Unhook retracting spring (17) from right and left quadrant (relieve tension) |

| 12 |
Take angle adjustment shaft (8), both tensile springs (7) and bearing plates (14) off the seat adjuster (15) |
Installation: Fit flattened side of angle adjustment shaft (8) to outer side of seat (handwheel holder) |
|
| 13 |
Install in the reverse order |
