Removing and installing front seat backrest release motor - AR91.29-P-1433K

MODEL 208 with CODE (241) Memory circuit for electrically adjustable left front seat with CODE (242a) Memory circuit for electrically adjustable right front seat with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, rearview mirror)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Remove front seat IMPORTANT Disconnect electrical leads and pneumatic lines below seat AR91.10-P-1000K 
2 Remove cover (1) IMPORTANT Two screws in lower area of cover  
3 Unhook backrest cover from backrest frame    
4 Unhook control cable (2) from backrest release motor (M27m8) IMPORTANT Actuate backrest release lever  
4 Unscrew screws (3)    
5 Expose electrical lead (4) to left front ESA control module (with memory) (N32/1) or right front ESA control module (with memory) (N32/2)    
6 Disconnect connector (5) from left front ESA control module (with memory) (N32/1) or right front IMPORTANT See wiring diagram for pin assignments PE91.29-P-2000D
    ESA control module (with memory) (N32/2) and open, remove pins  
7 Reinstall in opposite order    
8 Check for proper function
