Open sliding roof function - GF77.20-P-2004A
MODELS 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281 (except 208.4), 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97
Function prerequisites
- no overvoltage/undervoltage
Function
To open the sliding roof, press the tilting/sliding roof switch (N70s1) to the rear. The overhead control panel control module (N70) inputs the state of the switch and actuates the tilting/sliding roof motor (M12/1) in the "open tilting roof" direction.
- If the tilting/sliding roof is normalized , then the motor is actuated for as long as the switch is pressed, but for a maximum of 25 sec.
- If the tilting/sliding roof is not normalized , the motor is only actuated for one second. Only after the switch has been released and pressed again is the motor actuated for a further second.
Interruption of function
If the overhead control panel control module (N70) detects lock-up of the tilting/sliding roof, then the "open sliding roof" function is aborted.
(MODEL 210.2 only):
The sliding roof is stopped before reaching the limit position. In this way, irritating noises from the airstream are prevented. By pressing the switch again, the sliding roof can be opened completely.
MODELS 202 (T-model only), 208, 210 as of 06/00:
This is augmented by the "automatic actuation" function. If the switch is pressed over a pressure point in the "open" direction and then released, the sliding/tilting roof automatically moves upward. If another position is desired, the switch must be pressed again in the desired direction. To stop the tilting/sliding roof when it is in motion, the switch must again be pressed in the desired direction.
