Nivomat, loaded, unregulated, function - GF32.30-P-2000P
MODEL 203.2 (except 203.242 /243 /246) as of 13.1.03 with CODE (480) Level control system at rear
MODEL 203.242 /243 /246 with CODE (480) Level control system at rear
Function requirements:
- The vehicle is loaded when stationary
- The rear has lowered as a result of the payload
As the vehicle starts to move, relative movement between the axle and body cause the oil to be pumped from the low pressure reservoir (27) against the gas cushion in the high pressure reservoir (26). As the piston rod (31) extends, the oil is drawn into the pump (29) through the inlet valve. As the piston rod moves inwards, the oil is pressed into the high pressure reservoir (26) through the outlet valve.
The pressure in the low pressure reservoir (27) decreases continuously and the pressure in the high pressure reservoir (26) increases continuously.
The vehicle level can only be adjusted when the vehicle is in motion since the Nivomat is a purely mechanical system.
