The Nivomat is a system for adjusting the vehicle level. All the necessary elements (carrier element, pump, reservoirs, regulator, etc.) are integrated in one housing. The Nivomat system is installed instead of a conventional damper. It automatically ensures the optimum vehicle level with all vehicle loads. The Nivomat assumes additional suspension and damping functions. The Nivomat system is installed as a semi-supporting level-control element at the rear axle of the vehicle. The Nivomat is responsible for carrying the entire payload.

The special feature of the Nivomat level control system is that the energy required to adjust the vehicle to the optimum level is obtained from the relative movement between the axle and vehicle body that occurs when driving due to the unevenness of the road.

The Nivomat does not require any external power supply. It is a purely mechanical system.

After parking the vehicle, the Nivomat maintains the vehicle at the achieved level for a long period of time.
