Panoramic sliding roof normalization function - GF77.20-P-3009PC

MODEL 203.7 with CODE (413) panoramic sliding roof

Function requirements

Performing normalization

Close the panoramic sliding roof by means of the roof system switch (N70s1)  to the mechanical limit stop. Continue to activate the switch.

The overhead control panel control module (N70)  continues to actuate the roof system motor (M12m1)  and resets the position counter to zero when it detects that the motor is" locked up"  for at least 0.6 seconds.

Before reaching the end stop position a minimum of 3 pulse edges must be detected on each Hall sensor.

Renormalization

Occurs only when normalization takes place with the panoramic sliding roof completely open. When the panoramic sliding roof is next closed again, however, "renormalization" occurs. This resets the Hall sensor pulse count to zero.

IMPORTANT Normalization cannot be performed via the "convenience opening", "convenience closing" and "automatic opening" functions.
