Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition function - GF77.20-P-3007PC

MODEL 203.7 with CODE (413) panoramic sliding roof

Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition function

The overhead control panel control module (N70)  receives the voltage pulses sent by the Hall sensors on the roof system motor (M12m1), Hall sensor 1 (M12b1)  and Hall sensor 2 (M12b2)  , and uses this data for position measurement  .

If no Hall sensor pulses are received for more than 0.2 seconds during panoramic sliding roof actuation the drive unit is deactivated.

Failure of both Hall sensors represents a denormalization  . When denormalized the roof can only be closed in increments of t = 160 ms by means of the roof system switch (N70s1)  , or alternatively by using the emergency crank.

Denormalization  also occurs if the panoramic sliding roof is obstructed during tilting.

IMPORTANT Overload protection for the roof system motor (M12m1) is  provided by a mechanical thermal circuit breaker.
