Remove and install rear seat backrest cover - AR91.18-P-1870GI

MODELS 163.136/154/172 as of 1.9.9 163.113/128/157/174/175

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
1 Remove fold-down rear backrest   AR91.12-P-1720GI 
2.1 Remove rear seat backrest fitting (12) IMPORTANT Only 40% rear seat. AR91.12-P-1730GI 
3 Pull out rear backrest cover side lip (1) on the back of the rear backrest    
4 Unscrew bolts (3) from the rear wall paneling (2) SPECIAL TOOL Torx bit set Figure
5 Remove rear wall paneling (2) IMPORTANT Pull on the top corners of the rear wall paneling, in order to remove the body-bound rivets (13).
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Replace body-bound rivets.
 
6 Unscrew button for rear backrest release cable (4) and guide (5)    
7 Compress bottom end of head restraint guides (6) and pull out of the rear backrest frame (7) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe installation position of head restraint guides.  
8.1 Remove paneling from the belt guide of the center seat belt IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.
IMPORTANT Raise paneling at the front of the rear seat backrest and remove.
 
9.1 Unscrew mounting screws of the belt guide of the center seat belt and remove belt guide IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.  
    SPECIAL TOOL Torx bit set Figure
10.1 Guide center seat belt through the rear backrest cover IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.  
11.1 Detach fabric cover behind the armrest and remove IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.
IMPORTANT Carefully unhook wires inserted at the fastening points at the top and bottom fabric cover.
 
12.1 Remove armrest paneling IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.  
13.1 Remove clips along rear backrest cover edge in the area of the armrest IMPORTANT Only 60% rear seat.
IMPORTANT 6 clips.
 
14 Remove rear backrest cushion (10) from the rear backrest frame (7)    
15 Pull off the rear backrest cover (11) until the stapled wire rings become visible    
16 Bend stapled wire rings up    
17 Unhook stapled wire rings on the rear backrest cover (11) from the open wire rings    
18 Pull the rear backrest cover (11) off the rear backrest cushion (10)    
19 Install in the reverse order
