Map-supported map matching (map matching) is only available in the digitalized range of the CD-ROM map.
By comparing the calculated position of the vehicle with the CD-ROM map, the deviation can be detected and automatically corrected.
Function
The navigation processor constantly tracks the vehicle's position on the CD-ROM map. In the event of the course of travel's deviating from the calculated paths, the basic map matching position coordinates are corrected if necessary.
