Function of setting stored outside rearview mirror position - GF88.79-P-4001A

MODEL 208 with CODE (275b) Memory package (driver's seat, rearview mirrors) 

Function 

After receiving a request to move the outside rearview mirror to a stored mirror position, the door control module checks whether the values stored in the position memory are valid for both adjustment directions. If they are valid for at least one direction and the position measurement  feature is also functioning, the door control module actuates the appropriate motors in the outside mirror (M21/6)  or (M21/7)  . The motors are actuated until the position measurement  values coincide with the stored positions within a tolerance of less than 60 mV.

The motors are not actuated when the lock-up recognition  trips.
