Repairing thread for seat mount - AR91.10-P-1050E

  Repairing    
1 Remove front seats   AR91.10-P-1000E 
2 Expose front or rear seat console    
3 Drill out damaged thread (arrow) with 13 mm dia. bit IMPORTANT The threaded tube in the console must be removed completely.  
4 Increase size of present locating hole (1) in front cross member to 22 mm dia. with boring bit or multiple stage countersink IMPORTANT Remove drilling chips  
5 Fabricate nut holder (20x100x1.5) IMPORTANT See drawing  
6 Insert nut holder (2) into front cross member through enlarged locating hole (1) IMPORTANT On rear seat mount insert nut holder (2) through present elongated hole in console  
7 Fasten nut holder (2) with screw (3, M10x20)    
8 Bend over nut holder (2) and fasten with sheet metal screw (4) on cross member or console to prevent falling down    
9 Remove screw (3, M10x20)    
10 Position and align floor covering    
11 Install front seats IMPORTANT With the original seat mounting screws. External torx attachment E12  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA91.10-P-1001-01A
