Pull off hand wheel (1) |

Pull off handle (2) to the front |

Remove screw (arrow) at panel (3) |

Press panel (3) forward out of the catch and remove |

Remove screw (arrow) on covering (4) |
|
|
| 7 |
Press panel (4) forward out of the catch, unclip cable (5) at panel (4) and take off panel (4) |
|
|
| 8 |
Unclip cover (7) at connector strip (8) and take off |
|
|
| 9 |
Expose cable (5) to seat belt buckle (6), open cable strap (3 x, arrows) for this purpose and pull out connector at connector strip (8) |

| 10 |
Remove screws (9, 4 x) at backrest fitting (10) |

Take driver backrest (11) off seat adjuster (12) |

Remove screw (14) at seat belt buckle (6) |

Turn angle adjustment shaft up fully |
Use hand wheel (1). |

Unclip cover (15) at seat rail at rear left and right and pull off to the rear |

Detach tensile springs (16) for angle adjustment shaft (21) at seat cushion frame (13) |

Remove screws (18) at bearing plate (19) on left and right |

Take seat adjuster (12) off seat cushion frame (13) |
When installing grease bearing bushes and detent segment (arrows) at the seat adjuster (12) with MB lubricating paste (part number 001 989 14 51). |

Detach retracting spring (20) at bottom of detent segment for angle adjustment shaft (21) on left and right (slacken) |
|
|
| 19 |
Take angle adjustment shaft (21), both tensile springs (16) and bearing plates (19) off the seat adjuster (12) |
Flattened side of angle adjustment shaft (21) points to outside of seat when installed. |
|

Install in the reverse order |
