IMPORTANT The compression pressure can be tested at the hole of the injection nozzle or at the hole of the glow plug
INSTALLING INSTALLINGRemoval, installation
1 Warm up engine to operating temperature (approx. 80 °C) IMPORTANT Test compression pressure when engine is at normal operating temperature.
2.1 Remove injection nozzles For testing at hole of injection nozzle AR07.03-P-6830H
3.1 Remove glow plug For testing at hole of glow plug AR15.20-P-4111C
4 Crank engine with starter NOTES Do not crank engine at ignition/starter switch but use contact switch of the compression recorder.
IMPORTANT Crank engine several times with the starter in order to eliminate combustion residues in the cylinder.

    Model 202, 210 AR01.10-P-0110B
    Model 140 with engine 606.961 AR01.10-P-0110D
    Model 463 with engine 606.964 AR01.10-P-0110GG
    Model 124 AR01.10-P-0110HA
NOTES Pressurize vacuum line of injection pump with vacuum.
IMPORTANT Crank engine with ignition/starter switch.
  Inspecting
5 Connect compression tester (01) SPECIAL TOOL Figure
IMPORTANT Use connector (02) for testing at hole of injection nozzle.

    Model 124 AR01.10-P-0110HA
NOTES Pressurize vacuum line of injection pump with vacuum.
IMPORTANT Crank engine with ignition/starter switch
7 Carry out test procedure at the remaining cylinders in the same way
8 Compare measurements obtained with specified pressures   *BE01.00-P-1001-01A
      *BE01.00-P-1002-01A
if necessary If necessary if the pressure is below the minimum compression pressure or if the permissible difference between the individual cylinders is exceeded ↓ *BE01.00-P-1003-01A
    test cylinders for leaks AR01.00-P-1300HA
9 Install in the reverse order
