Function of outside passenger-side rearview mirror parking position - GF88.79-P-2006A

MODEL 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97 with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, rearview mirrors) 

MODEL 208 with CODE (275b) Memory package (driver's seat, rearview mirrors) 

The front passenger-side door control module (N69/2)  has a memory location for the parking position for the passenger-side outside rearview mirror (M21/7)  . Here it is possible to store a mirror position which allows the driver the see the area of the curb to facilitate parking. When the transmission is shifted into reverse the mirror is moved automatically to the stored parking position  .
