Function of storing outside rearview mirror parking position - GF88.79-P-3004A

Function 

The parking position is stored in the front passenger-side door control module (N69/2)  . To store this position it is necessary to select the passenger-side rearview mirror with the left/right outside mirror switch-over (N72s8)  on the lower control panel in the center console. Then actuate the memory switch (S91/2s9)  on the driver's door and press down the outside mirror vertical adjustment (up/down) switch (N72s6) in the direction of the mirror glass  within 3 sec. This transmits a CAN message to the front passenger-side door control module (N69/2)  to store the parking position. The door control module checks whether the values from the position measurement  are valid. If so these values are stored in the door control module.
