Removing control modules from control module box - AR54.20-P-1257-01A
- Pull slide catch for connector for windshield wiper and blower motor control module box (2) up and disconnect connector from multifunction control module (N10-1).
- Open connector (2) and separate coding section for connecting blower motor and control module box from connector.
- Pivot locking tab (1) up and pivot connector for multifunction control module (N10-1) to side and remove control module from control module box guides.
The connector for the multifunction control module (N10-1) is mounted on the bottom of the control module box so that it can pivot. Pivot connector to side so that control module can be pulled out upward without resistance.
- Disconnect connectors from 5-speed automatic transmission control module (ETC, N15/1) or transmission control module (ETC, N15/3) and remove control module.

Multifunction control module (N10-1) and transmission control module (TCM), 5-speed automatic, N15/1 or transmission control module (ETC, N15/3)
Injection system control module (N3), depending on version: IFI control module (N3/7), DFI control module (N3/8), engine control module (HFM-SFI) (N3/4), CDI control module (N3/9), engine control module (ME-SFI) (N3/10) and traction systems control module (N47)
The CFI control module (N3) and traction system control module (N47) are mounted on one bracket (5) and must always be removed together.
- Release connector (3) on CFI control module (N3).
- Pivot connector (3) to side until the multipoint male connector is released from the CFI control module (N3).
- Pull sliding lock (located below lead entrance) on both connectors (4) on traction systems control module (N47) out to stop and remove connectors.
- Unscrew screw (7) and pull mount (5) together with the two control modules up and out of control module box guides.
- Remove connectors (8) from relay module (K40).
- Press clamping spring (9) to side and remove relay module from control module box.
