Removal and installation of front fender - ra88001400100x(0100)

Preliminary work:
Engine hood open
Front bumper removed (Removal and installation of front bumper )
Panelling removed at A-pillar (Removal and installation of paneling on the A-pillar )
Turn signal indicator removed
Panelling on front fender removed (Removal and installation of outer paneling on doors and fenders section A)
| Screw (1 and 2) | remove. |
| Surround (3) with gasket (11) | remove, whilst pulling out gasket (11) from fender. |
| Screw (4) | unscrew (2 pieces, WAF8). |
| Screw (5) | unscrew (WAF10). |
| Screw (6) | unscrew (2 pieces, WAF10) |
| Rivet head (13) on bracket (12) | drill out, when installing, use 4 mm pop rivet. |
| Screw (7) | unscrew (3 pieces, WAF10), whilst opening the driver's door. |
| Screw (8) | unscrew (6 pieces, WAF10). |
| Foam seal (9) on fender (10) | detach. |
| Fender (10) | remove upwards. |
| When replacing fender | unscrew turn signal lamp mounting (arrow) and secure on new fender. |
| Reinstall | in opposite order, whilst ensuring correct installed position and sealing at inner fender. |
Treat replacement fender with MB permanent underbody protection and preserve using cavity wax after installation (refer to PERMANENT UNDERFLOOR PROTECTION and CAVITY PRESERVATION FOLLOWING REPAIR WORK ). |
