Removal and installation of the rear shelf - ra68001400458x(0458)

Model 140 - A. Sedan, B. Coupe 

Preliminary work:

Rear seat and rear seat backrest removed (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF REAR SEAT AND BACKREST ).

Panelling on rear pillar removed (Removal and installation of the paneling on the rear pillar  ).

  1. Sedans

    Screws (1 and 2) screw out.
    Screw (5) in first aid box compartment screw out.
    Rear shelf (6) remove toward front.
    Rear shelf (6) position while inserting tabs in recesses at rear (arrows).
    Reinstall in opposite order.
  2. Coupes 

Preliminary work:

Both rear seat cushions and rear backrests removed (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF REAR SEAT AND BACKREST )

Panelling on C-pillar removed (Removal and installation of the paneling on the rear pillar  )

Rear head restraints put up.
Both rear head restraints remove, for this purpose unclip covers (arrows) on head restraint mounting plate.
Arrest (arrow) on head restraint rod press and simultaneously press head restraint toward rear.
Rear head restraints remove.
Rear arm rest fold down.
Rear shelf (1) lift and remove toward front.
IMPORTANT When removing and installing the rear shelf (1) pay attention not to damage other interior fittings with air vent grate (arrows).  
Reinstall in opposite order; insert tabs on rear shelf (1) into dividing wall and plastic hooks (arrows) into frame on roller blind.
