| 3.1 | Loosen lock nut (12) and unscrew shift lever (2) | Models 124, 129, 140 | |
| 3.2 | Remove selector lever handle | Model 210 | AR27.60-P-0920-01A |
| 4 | Remove slide (27), cover (9), insert (7a), cover strip (8), "D"-contact switch (S16/9), bracket (26), slide (23), cup seal (25) and slide switch (28) in sequence | ||
| 5 | Press off locking devices (16) and remove plastic bushes (15) | ||
| 6 | Remove fork end (13) and double spiral spring (14) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect sealing washer (22) | ||
| 8 | Press off locking device (53) | ||
| 9 | Loosen mounting plate (51) and remove complete with locking lever (44b), (44L) and cam (48) from housing (1) | ||
| 10 | Detach locking lever (44B), (44L) on mounting plate (51) | ||
| 11 | Remove pins (54) and withdraw shift shaft (18) from bracket (55) | Check shift shaft (18) for wear and lubricate during assembly. | *BR00.45-Z-1001-06A |
