Removing and installing electromagnetic clutch and checking solenoid coil - ra83001400536x(0536)

Refrigerant compressor	Remove, install (Removing and installing refrigerant compressor  ).
Spring plate (61)	Remove using pin wrench 000 589 00 05 00, check gap 0.5 ± 0.15 and correct with shims (62). Tighten to 16 ± 1.0 Nm (refer to notes).
Snap ring (63)	Remove, install using pliers for snap ring (outside).
Ribbed V-belt pulley (65)	Drive off, drive on using plastic mallet.
	If the same pulley is reinstalled, the friction surface of the pulley must be cleaned. If the friction surface displays signs of damage (e.g. due to overheating), the pulley must be replaced together with the spring plate.
Snap ring (69)	Remove, install.
Solenoid coil (71)	Remove, install by opening/closing plug housing on refrigerant compressor (refer to note). Disconnect negative lead of solenoid coil from refrigerant compressor.
	Push solenoid coil onto dowel pin; tapered side of snap ring must face outwards.
Solenoid coil	Test.
	Nominal value approx.	warm	3.75 A
		cold	4.20 A
Air conditioner	Check function.

Notes concerning spring plate (61)

Push spring plate onto compressor shaft and tighten screw to 16 ± 1.0 Nm.

Check gap using valve gauge and correct with shims if necessary.

Note concerning solenoid coil (71) 

To open plug housing, unscrew both screws (arrows).

Take out cable to solenoid coil.
