Disassembling and assembling front wheel hub - AR33.20-P-0320A

DISASSEMBLING Disassembling     
1 Remove front wheel hub   AR33.20-P-0310A 
2 Using drift (05a) - knock out inner tapered roller bearing (9l) and radial seal ring (9a) SPECIAL TOOL Model 140 Fig 4

3 Using drift (05a) - knock out bearing race of outer tapered roller bearing (9c) SPECIAL TOOL Model 140 Fig 4

4 Pull bearing race of inner tapered roller bearing (9b) out of front wheel hub using extractor (05) SPECIAL TOOL Model 140 Fig 2

5 Clean tapered roller bearing and front wheel hub    
INSPECT Checking     
6 Check tapered roller bearings and bearing races   AR33.20-P-0310-02A 
7 Check front wheel hub Check tapped holes and rotor teeth for damage  
ASSEMBLING Assembling     
8 Pull bearing races (9b, 9c) into front wheel hub using installer (05b, 05c) SPECIAL TOOL Model 140 Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL Models 170, 202, 208, 210 Fig 6
9 Insert inner tapered roller bearing (9l) into front wheel hub Grease tapered roller bearing before installing  
10 Pull radial seal ring (9a) into front wheel hub as far as the stop using installer.
Coat contact surface of radial seal ring with grease and pack space between lip and dust lip with grease.		 SPECIAL TOOL Model 140 Fig 3

11 Pack wheel hub with grease FLUID SPECIFICATION *BF33.20-P-1001-01A 
12 Insert outer tapered roller bearing into front wheel hub Grease tapered roller bearing before installing  
12 Install front wheel hub   AR33.20-P-0310A
