Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
1	Remove front wheel		AP40.10-P-4050Z
2	Install guard plates for brake covers		AR42.00-P-0100-01A

4	Detach all plastic covers on the front axle
5	Disconnect front axle electrical distributor connector (62/6 or X62/7) in major assemblies compartment	Pull out wiring harness through the wheel housing
6	On vehicles with ADS, disconnect connection for front axle damping valve (Y51x1/2)	Pay attention to the shock-sensitive acceleration sensor (B24/1)
	Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid.	Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A
7	Unscrew brake hose (39) from brake line	Protect lines against contamination
