Removing and installing driven plate - AR03.30-P-8003AO

	Removing, installing
1	Remove transmission
2	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/ring gear		AR03.30-P-5000AO
3	Unscrew stretch bolts (11) or micro-encapsulated straight-shank stretch bolts	Installation : inspect stretch bolts; measure diameter of stretch shank and length of stretch bolts. If the specified minimum ø "d" at the stretch shank or the max. bolt length "L" of the stretch bolts is reached, they should be replaced. Replace straight-shank stretch bolts.

4	Take off driven plates (7, 8) and ring gear (2)	Driven plate 1st version Installation : install thicker driven plate (8, thickness 1.5 mm) at crankshaft side. Driven plates and ring gear are individually balanced and can be replaced without balancing. Contact surface of driven plates (7, 8), of bolts and washers should be free of dirt and damage.

5	Take driven plates (7, 8) off the ring gear	Driven plate 1st version Installation : the ring gear (2) should be installed in such a way that the ø 3.5 mm holes (arrows) in the ring gear (2) and in the driven plates (7, 8) have the same angle position otherwise proper operation of the ignition is not assured.
6	Install in the reverse order
