Removal & Installation
- Remove coupe roof. See REMOVING HARD TOP
under OPERATION. Remove occasional seats. See OCCASIONAL SEATS (REAR SEATS)
. Remove luggage shelf. See SHELF (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT REAR SEAT AREA)
. Remove side panels. See SIDE PANELS (REAR COMPARTMENT)

- Locate left side center catch, mark position of catch with felt tip pen. Remove center catch. See CENTER CATCH
. DO NOT remove hydraulic lines from center catch.
- Cut lining (water barrier) in area of retainer nuts (arrows) with utility knife. See Figure
.
- Press center catch away slightly and remove retainer nuts (arrows).
- Disconnect plug connectors (a) from solenoids. See Fig 1
and Figure
.
- Remove hydraulic lines from valve block. Screw plugs onto hydraulic lines and into connections on valve block immediately. See Fig 1
.
- Install in reverse order. Glue lining back into position. Check for proper function and leakage.
