Roll Bar Assembly: Installation
NOTE:
The roll bar must be adjusted following repair work. See ADJUSTMENTS
.
- Install roll bar with aid of second mechanic.
- Install fastener screws at lower roll bar elements (arrow). Tighten to 37 Ft. lbs. (50 Nm). See Figure .
- Install fastener screws at upper roll bar bearing pivots (arrow). Tighten to 59 Ft. lbs. (80 Nm). See Figure .
- Connect hydraulic lines. The code numbers on the lines must correspond with the connections.
- Connect electrical connectors.
- Continue to reinstall in opposite order.
- Check roll bar for proper function after repair work on roll bar. See ROLL BAR CRASH DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM FUNCTION TEST (SECTION 19.2/11.1) .
