Summarized Procedure

Remove coupe roof. See REMOVING HARD TOP  under OPERATION. Push side covering on left side of trunk to side. Remove side covering on right. Push covering on dividing wall to side (spreading rivet) and remove. Push down lever for emergency actuation (arrow). See Figure . Press lever for emergency actuation down with open end wrench (vehicle tool kit). For this purpose simultaneously press the lock in the catch down with a screwdriver (arrow). See Figure . Disconnect harness plug connector (c) A22x left catch, A23x right catch. See Figure . Open cable straps. Press out slide retainers (a and b). Remove hydraulic lines. Ensure hydraulic lines are plugged immediately with plugs (part No. 129 589 00 91 07), and the connections on the catches with plugs (part No. 129 589 00 91 11).
