System malfunction location	Parking lock is stuck (parking unlocked status)
Detection condition	Parking lock does not operate for a continuous period of time even though the parking lock is operated.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	TCM stores following DTCs. P27F4-00: (Parking lock solenoid valve: Stuck off) (See P27F4-00: [TCM (NJ8A (X)- EC/NN8A (X)-EC/MM8A (X)-EC)] .) P0757-00: (ON/OFF solenoid valve No. 2: Stuck on) (See P0757-00: [TCM (NJ8A (X)- EC/NN8A (X)-EC/MM8A (X)-EC)] .) P07B5-00: (Parking position sensor: Stuck off) (See P07B5-00: [TCM (NJ8A (X)- EC/NN8A (X)-EC/MM8A (X)-EC)] .) Malfunction in the following automatic transmission component parts (Refer to [AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information). Parking lock mechanism
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved: Shift the selector lever to the P position.
