Leakage inspection

  1. Install an inspection hose to Port A.

    COMPONENT OPERATIONS

    Component no Refer to
    1 Port A (fuel tank side)
    2 Port B (purge solenoid valve side)
    3 Port C (atmospheric side)
  2. Tightly close Ports B and C with caps.
  3. Apply 19.6 kPa {0.20 kgf/cm2 , 2.84 psi} of pressure from the hose and verify that there is no air leakage from the charcoal canister.
