Airflow inspection

  1. Perform the following procedure to verify the airflow in the charcoal canister. (Port A to Port C)
    1. Plug Port B.

      COMPONENT OPERATIONS

      Component no Refer to
      1 Hose
      2 Pressure (Port A)
      3 Plug (Port B)
      4 Pressure (Port C)
    2. Apply 0.98 kPa {0.0100 kgf/cm2 , 0.14 psi} of pressure to Port A.
    3. Verify that there is airflow in Port C.
  2. Perform the following procedure to verify the airflow in the charcoal canister. (Port B to Port C)
    1. Plug Port A.

      3 Pressure (Port B)
      4 Pressure (Port C)
    2. Apply 0.98 kPa {0.0100 kgf/cm2 , 0.14 psi} of pressure to Port C.
    3. Verify that there is airflow in Port B.
