| Repeatability verification procedure |
WARNING:
- Observe legal speed limits when driving the vehicle and perform the procedure in a location where safety can be assured.
- To prevent an accident, work with two people when the vehicle is being driven (one person drives vehicle, other person operates M-MDS).
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Try to reproduce the malfunction by driving the vehicle based on the values in the freeze framedata/snapshot data.
|
| Inspection/action procedure |
- Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below.
- After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verifi cation procedure and perform a DTCinspection. (See DTC INSPECTION
)
- If the DTC inspection indicates the same DTC again, go to the next step.
- Verify the electric water pump installation condition.
If the electric water pump has not been installed correctly, install it correctly.
Purpose/reason (possible cause)
Electric water pump poor installation
Referred to workshop manual item
See ELECTRIC WATER PUMP No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL]
- Inspect the electric water pump.
