Data monitor inspection (A/F sensor)

NOTE:
  • Perform the procedure with the M-MDS connected to the DLC-2.
  1. Start the engine and warm it up.
  2. Display the following PIDs using the data monitor function. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION ] in the Troubleshooting Service Information) (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM] ] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
    • VSS (Vehicle speed)
    • ENG_RPM (Engine speed)
    • A/F_SEN_CUR (A/F sensor output current)
  3. With the vehicle running and the engine speed 3, 000 rpm The accelerator pedal shall be released to decelerate the vehicle.
  4. When decelerating, verify that [A/F _SEN_CUR (A/F output CURRENT) changes as shown in the figure below. (0.25 mA or more output).
