Intention of troubleshooting procedure

- Step 1
- Inspect the fuel supply system (low pressure side).
- Step 2
- Perform a unit inspection of the fuel pressure sensor.
- Repair completion verification
- Verify that the primary malfunction is resolved and there are no other malfunctions.

| No | Inspect the fuel system pipes (low to high pressure sides) for fuel leakage and restriction.

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in Service Information). |

| Repair completion verification 1 | PURPOSE: VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED

Yes | Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] ) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.

| Repair completion verification 2 | PURPOSE: VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED

Yes | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. |
