Location of use: Water-cooled charge air cooler

Oil and Chemical Type

Engine oil
Type: Recommended oil

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the intake manifold and water-cooled charge air cooler as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) .)
Remove the water-cooled charge air cooler from the intake manifold.
