DTC P0507-00: IAC System Rpm Higher Than Expected

P0507-00: (PCM - SKYACTIV-G 2.5T) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	IAC system RPM higher than expected
Detection condition	The actual idle speed is higher than the standard value, when the brake pedal is depressed (brake switch is on). NOTE: If the atmospheric pressure is less than 72.2 kPa {0.736 kgf/cm ² , 10.5 psi} or the intake air temperature is below -10°C {14°F}, the PCM cancels the diagnosis of DTC P0507-00:

Possible cause	Malfunction in injection amount measurement system (See P0101-00: [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)] .) Purge solenoid valve malfunction (stuck open) (In this case, the PCM records DTC P0443-00:) Vacuum hose, evaporative hose or ventilation hose not installed correctly (Refer to VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] in service information.) (Refer to EMISSION SYSTEM LOCATION INDEX [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] in service information.) (Refer to INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] in service information.) Drive-by-wire control system malfunction (Throttle valve malfunction (stuck open)) (See ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .) PCM malfunction (Refer to PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Replicate the vehicle conditions at the time the DTC was detected using the following procedure. Start the engine and warm it up completely. Depress the brake pedal for 14 s or more. Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
