Inspection/Action Procedure

This DTC may be displayed due to the following DTCs. If the following DTCs are displayed, prioritize inspection/taking action.
- SAS control module (See DTC TABLE [SAS] .)
  - DTC related to internal malfunction
  - DTC related to malfunction signal reception
Inspect and take action in order from Step 1 below.
After repairing or replacing a part, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
- If the same DTC is displayed again as a result of the DTC inspection, go to the next step.

Verify the installation condition of the passenger-side crash zone sensor.

If the passenger-side crash zone sensor is not correctly installed, install it correctly.

Purpose/reason (possible cause)	Poor passenger-side crash zone sensor installation
Applicable service information items	PASSENGER-SIDE CRASH ZONE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the passenger-side crash zone sensor and SAS control module.

Purpose/reason (possible cause)	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between passenger-side crash zone sensor and SAS control module
Applicable service information items	CIRCUIT INSPECTION /CONNECTOR INSPECTION

Inspect the passenger-side crash zone sensor.

INSPECTION AND ACTION PROCEDURE

Purpose/reason (possible cause)	Passenger-side crash zone sensor malfunction
Applicable service information items	PASSENGER-SIDE CRASH ZONE SENSOR INSPECTION

Replace the SAS control module.
