Inspection/Action Procedure

This DTC may be displayed due to the following DTCs. If the following DTCs are displayed, prioritize inspection/taking action.
- SAS control module (See DTC TABLE [SAS] .)
  - DTC related to internal malfunction
  - DTC related to malfunction signal reception
Inspect and take action in order from Step 1 below.
After repairing or replacing a part, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC INSPECTION. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
- If the same DTC is displayed again as a result of the DTC inspection, go to the next step.

Verify the installation condition of the driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1.

If the driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1 is not correctly installed, install it correctly.

Purpose/reason (possible cause)	Poor driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1 installation
Applicable service information items	DRIVER-SIDE SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1 and SAS control module.

Purpose/reason (possible cause)	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1 and SAS control module
Applicable service information items	CIRCUIT INSPECTION and CONNECTOR INSPECTION

Inspect the driver-side side air bag sensor No. 1.

Applicable service information items	DRIVER-SIDE SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR No. 1 INSPECTION

Replace the SAS control module.
