NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL WITH CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	INSPECT COOLANT TEMPERATURE Is the coolant sufficiently warmed up?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Warm up the engine and perform the repair completion verification 1.
2	VERIFY DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT DTCs Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [DASH_ESU] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT AIR MIX LINK PART Inspect the air mix actuator and air mix link for the following items. Is grease on link? Are links securely and properly installed? Are links free of obstructions and hindrances? Are the above items normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Apply grease or securely install to the correct positions. If there is a malfunction in the air mix link, replace the air mix link. (Refer to A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) (Refer to A/C UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY in service information.) Perform the repair completion verification 1.
4	VERIFY AIR MIX ACTUATOR FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSPECTION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] , or AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSPECTION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] in service information.) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to AIR MIX ACTUATOR REMOVAL [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] , or AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSPECTION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] in service information.) (Refer to AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] , or AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] in service information.)
5	VERIFY AIR MIX DOOR FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) (Refer to A/C UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY in service information.) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
5		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1.
6	INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN DRIVER-SIDE AIR MIX ACTUATOR AND DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable circuit. (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Is the circuit normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
6		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1.
7	INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN PASSENGER-SIDE AIR MIX ACTUATOR AND DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable circuit. (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Is the circuit normal?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the climate control unit and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] , or CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] in service information.)
7		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1.
Repair completion verification 1	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS CORRECTED Does the temperature change when the temperature control switch is operated?	Yes	Troubleshooting completed. (Explain repair contents to customer.)
Repair completion verification 1		No	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the dash-electrical supply unit. (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in service information.)
