DTC B1A24-2B: Front TV Antenna Amplifier (RH) Signal Circuit Malfunction

B1A24-2B: (CMU) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Front TV antenna amplifier (RH) signal circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The remote tuner (RT) detects a short to ground in the front TV antenna amplifier (RH) signal circuit, a short to the power supply, or a short circuit between front TV antenna amplifier (RH) signal circuit and mutual shield.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored.) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
  2. DTCs are stored in the connectivity master unit (CMU). (Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored.) (See DTC TABLE [CMU] .)
  3. DTC is stored in the connectivity master unit (CMU). (DTC related to the remote tuner (RT) is stored.) (See B1A33-49: [CMU] .)
  4. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between front TV antenna amplifier (RH) and remote tuner (RT) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  5. Front TV antenna amplifier (RH) malfunction (Refer to [TV ANTENNA AMPLIFIER INSPECTION] in service information.)
  6. Remote tuner (RT) malfunction (Refer to REMOTE TUNER (RT) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
